We met in 2014 in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. As origin stories go, we think it's a good one. Since then, we've built a life together in Bristol. A life that has been shaped, coloured and made infinitely richer by everyone who has been part of our journey. This weekend isn't just about celebrating our civil partnership, but our chance to say thank you for being part of our lives. There are three events planned across Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Come to one. Come to all. RSVP to whichever chapters you'd like to be a part of.
We would love your presence over presents, but if you would like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, there will be a donation point at the events.

This is the main event!
Come join us in the underground tunnels of Loco Klub, right next door to Bristol Temple Meads train station. That’s right, it’s a party on a Thursday night! Book the Friday off work and get on the dancefloor with us. A huge thank you to our DJ extraordinaire pals with excellent music taste who will be taking us on a journey through all the best music genres.
Please arrive at 19:00 for an arrival drink on us, and be seated by 19:50 for the ceremony.

Dress Code:
The vibe: dark fairytale meets high fashion.
Pick out one of your more "couture" or high-fashion outfits - think rich fabrics, sharp tailoring, and dramatic silhouettes. Then give it a dark fairytale twist with a hint of a creature of your choosing: real or mythical, bird, beast, or bug.
Keep it subtle with a brooch, pin badge, or piece of jewellery, or go big with an animal print, a bold accessory, or a headpiece. Both are equally welcome - a small nod is just as perfect as a full statement.
The main thing is you interpret it however you like, and wear what makes you feel fabulous.
For reference, Sophie & James will be wearing a hint of magpie.

Sophie loves Halloween but is often working through it - so we're seizing the chance to host our very own early Halloween-inspired evening.
Join us at our community hub for a mass game of Atmosfear, an open fire for toasting marshmallows and a horror film screening to round off the night.
Spooky finger food and a choice of Gomez, Morticia, or Wednesday cocktails and mocktails are on us - feel free to bring anything extra you’d like.
This is a more chilled affair after the night before, so feel free to channel your inner goth, but go comfort over costume.
One important note: numbers are capped for this one, so please only RSVP yes if you’re certain you can make it.

What better way to round off the weekend than with James' favourite thing - food!
James will be running the BBQ with options for all dietary requirements so there will be something for everyone. This is a relaxed, open-air affair. Bring your own booze, drinking vessels and a picnic blanket.
At 18:30 we will gather everyone for some speeches from our nearest and dearest.
No dress code - come in whatever is most comfortable for you.
